Our Mission
Remembrance is a company dedicated to capturing the stories, memories, and legacies of your loved ones in their own words.
Our Why
We want families to have an affordable, yet high quality way to preserve the memories and stories of their loved ones.
Our Story
Andreas and his brothers with Grandma Sandi
Three years after my grandma passed away, I realized I had forgotten the sound of her voice. My memory was failing me and I couldn’t even remember the sound of her laughter. While I am so grateful for the pictures I still have of her, and the memories I will always cherish, I wish I was still able to see and hear her talking to me.
That’s part of why Josh and I created Remembrance. To capture the memories, stories, and lives of your loved ones in their own words. We want you to be able to experience them and their history, and capture their memories so you’ll never forget. That’s why we tailor every Remembrance to them and their families.

Hi, this is Andreas! I was asked to write a little introduction so you know I’m not a robot. These days you can do a lot with AI, but if you’re reading this and wondering if this service is a good fit for your family, I can at least assure you that we are real human beings who care!
I was born and raised in the dreary, often wet and cold, somewhat beautiful state of Washington. I grew up in a small town called Sammamish, have three brothers, a lazy eye, blonde hair, speak German, and love to read. (Brandon Sanderson is my favorite author).
I’m looking forward to meeting you, and hope to help professionally capture the stories and memories of your loved ones so that you can cherish them forever!

Hi, I’m Josh Yoder, and I love storytelling. Using legos and toys, as a kid I told my stories of space travel and superhero. And now I get the opportunity to help families tell their stories, and it brings me joy to see how sharing stories is so impactful.
I was born in Colorado Springs, and grew up in Yoder, Colorado. There is a connection between my last name and where I live, but I think the wikipedia page for my hometown does a better job explaining it then I could. I have one older sister, played basketball all my life, and love movies.
I am so grateful that this service captured the stories of my Grandma Judy, and look forward to meeting with you and helping you capture yours.
